LOGLINE: Kristel, a 23 years old girl who relocate with her parents from NY to Europe, starts to put her feminine wiles to work in an unscrupulous quest for material gain. This cautionary tale raises the question of boundaries and of what is morally appropriate in achieving one's goals.

SYNOPSIS: Kristel (23) is the perfect only child of Henry and Caroline Kent who relocate to the magical Algarve region of Portugal. Henry has recently accepted the general manager position of an exclusive 5 star resort. The Kents hope that Kristel, who registered at a local university, will delve into college life and be distracted from her troubled past in NYC. Kristel quickly befriends Maria, a charming local girl. Unfortunately Kristel finds classes to be dull and longs for the former excitement of her NYC life. Kristel turns to the internet for adventure and soon connects with many different men who are intrigued by this American beauty. Kristel discovers a Geisha school which offers classes in how to enchant the opposite sex. She convinces Maria to join with her and the two innocents begin their schooling in how to please men and ultimately control them.
Kristel’s first meets Paul, a dreamer and idealist who quickly falls for the lively Kristel. Their date over drinks quickly turns to the bedroom but Kristel is bored with a single conquest and hungers for more. She next enchants Carlos, a married, high ranking executive in the financial world. He showers her with money and gifts which only leaves Kristel again wanting more.
Kristel becomes hypnotized by the power and money she accumulates and engenders a plan for more riches and dominance. Meanwhile, Alfonso, the university director, notifies the Kents that Kristel is close to expulsion due to her lack of attendance and dismal academic record. The Kents confront their daughter, who pleads innocence and promises to reign in her deficiency of effort. Maria becomes concerned and implores with Kristen to leave the Geisha school which is fraught with peril. Kristel dismisses Maria and decides to leave her family and lead her double life on her own. She moves in with Paul but continues to secretly rendezvous with Carlos. She demands Carlos leave his wife and buy her an apartment.
Kristel loses all sense of honesty and goodness and plummets into the world of deviltry. She enacts a plan to swindle her two men out of huge sums of money through fraud and blackmail. She attempts to steal from a bank and hires a man to intimidate Carlos. Kristel’s life quickly unravels and the truth of her treachery is revealed. The men soon discover the trickery of Kristel and expel her from their lives. Kristel becomes known to the tax authorities due to the huge sums of money without a financial trace. The ‘Men in Black’ track her to her parents house, where she has since fled back to. They threaten her with tax fraud and prison. Paul notifies the authorities of her theft of his finances and the police arrest Kristel. Her parents are devastated but pledge to support her. The financial empire of Carlos crumbles as the huge sums he has funneled to Kristel become discovered missing. Panic ensues and there is a run on the bank as the news is reported throughout the country.
The life of Kristel is left in ruins. Her lust for power and riches has lead to the destruction of all who loved her and became ensnared in her beguiling bewitchment. Kristel has ravaged herself, and her loved ones. Her fall from grace catalyzed the financial destruction of a country that generously offered her refuge but ultimately paid the price for delusive enchantment.
